As a Registrar (Fee-Paid Casual) at IWM, you’ll play a key role in managing national and international exhibition loans, ensuring the safe and accountable movement of collections. Based at IWM London, with travel to other sites, you’ll support exhibitions and partnerships that bring history to life.
What You’ll Do
- Manage loans in and out from start to finish, ensuring compliance and accountability
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to deliver exhibitions and displays
- Oversee contracts, insurance, indemnity, and transport logistics
- Maintain accurate records and reporting using collections and financial systems
- Support the Head of Collections Registration in enhancing systems and standards
- Represent IWM at events and act as courier when needed
Who You Are
- Experienced Registrar with a museum studies qualification or equivalent experience
- Skilled in collections governance, loans management, and risk assessment
- Proficient in using databases and reporting tools
