The Sales Administrator will play a key role in supporting the Sales Director, Sales Managers, Sales Outlets, and the Sales Office Manager with the day-to-day operations of the sales office. This position is responsible for providing essential administrative assistance to ensure the smooth functioning of the team.
The role:
- Provide secretarial support to the Sales Department. Tasks include drafting letters, memos, reports, and spreadsheets, maintaining organised filing systems, scheduling meetings and handling general administrative duties.
- Record and update sales statuses, bespoke options, and variations on the Sales Monitor.
- Ensure that all development information is accurate across internal systems and the company website and external platforms such as Rightmove.
- Generate weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reports as required by the Sales Department, Divisional Management, and Group.
- Manage administrative matters for the Sales Advisors, including commission, annual leave, and rota adjustments.
- Facilitate the flow of information between the Sales Department and other teams within the division.
- Respond to telephone and e-mail enquiries from prospective customers regarding upcoming and current sites.
- Support the Sales Director by assisting with communications and coordination involving Management Companies.
Experience, qualifications and skills:
- Advanced proficiency in Excel is crucial, along with a solid understanding of other Microsoft Office tools such as Word and Outlook, and adaptability to new systems.
- Experience of working within a high-pressure administrative role.
- Exceptional communication, listening, and presentation abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks, delivering high quality results.
- Capable of working both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Previous experience in a sales environment is advantageous.
- A current full driving licence is preferred, but not essential.
- GCSE Maths and English – Grade 4/C or above (equivalent).
