The Assistant Site Manager supports the Site Manager in delivering high-quality, timber-frame homes safely, on programme, and to NHBC and company standards. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who understands the unique sequencing, tolerances, and QA requirements of timber-frame construction.
- Support the Site Manager in driving the build programme, ensuring timber-frame erection, follow-on trades, and internal works run to schedule.
- Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors, ensuring smooth sequencing between frame installation, M&E first fix, insulation, and boarding.
- Monitor progress across plots and update short-term programmes.
- Assist with managing crane operations, frame deliveries, and just-in-time logistics.
