Imperial Recruitment Group are delighted to be working in partnership with Walker Filtration on the appointment of a Technical Support Engineer to join their growing engineering team based in Washington. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced engineer to play a key role in supporting Walker Filtration's Industrial Filtration and Medical product ranges, delivering frontline technical support, driving continuous product improvement, and supporting product development activities across the business. The successful candidate will work closely with internal design teams, customers, and service engineers to improve product reliability, enhance serviceability, and ensure an exceptional customer support experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide frontline technical support to customers and service engineers
- Review and approve warranty claims through the Atlas Copco WANT system
- Investigate product failures and support root cause analysis activities
- Support cross-functional quality meetings including TCM and PQM
- Produce technical bulletins, troubleshooting guides, manuals, and training documentation
- Deliver technical training for new product introductions
- Support the 8D corrective action process
- Work closely with design teams to identify trends and prevent repeat failures
- Lead spare parts release activities and maintain aftermarket documentation
