Production Operators and Packers β Sedgefield Β£12.90 per hour | Temporary β Ongoing
Imperial Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a leading food packaging manufacturer based in Sedgefield. Due to increased workload, our client is looking for multiple Production Operators and Packers to join their busy production facility. We have two shift patterns available:
- Production Operators β 3 on 3 off, 12-hour shifts, 7am β 7pm
- Packers β 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, on a rotating pattern of 7-3, 3-11 and 11-7
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor production/packing machinery in line with company procedures
- Ensure products are packed correctly and to the required quality standards
- Carry out visual quality checks throughout the shift, reporting any faults or issues
- Maintain accurate production records and paperwork as required
- Follow all health, safety and hygiene procedures at all times, in line with food manufacturing standards
- Keep the work area clean and tidy, adhering to good housekeeping practices
- Work efficiently as part of a team to meet production targets
- Report any machinery faults or downtime promptly to supervisors
- Adhere to all company policies, including PPE requirements
Requirements:
- Own steel toe cap / safety boots essential
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is desirable but not essential
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
- Reliable, punctual, and able to commit to shift pattern
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced food production environment
This is a temporary, ongoing position due to increased workload, with the opportunity for long-term work for the right candidates.
