Responsibilities:
- Take instruction from Logistics Manager and perform the movement of lift materials around site
- Undertake safe movement of materials using mechanical and powered aids
- Move materials from the point of offloading landing (pit lanes) to the company storage compound via site material hoists
- Move materials from the storage compound to the point of workface access placement
- Maintain the company storage compound in a clean and organised way
- Collecting up and breaking down used lift materials packaging from around site (points where install is moving materials into the shafts)
- Twice daily sweeps of all floors and collection of lift materials packaging and moved to compound
- Disposal into provided bins of all lift material packaging to include breaking up pallets and de nailing using provided tools
- Collecting of waste bins from agreed locations in the morning and moving the bins back to agreed locations at the end of the working day
- Working safely using powered and mechanical aids and showing an understanding and practice of safe manual handling techniques
Requirements:
- Be a holder of a Manual Handling Training Certificate
- Construction Experience
