Duties:
- Deliver and manage high-quality, inclusive teaching, learning, and assessment in Association of Accounting Technicians (AAT).
- Provide hands-on and theoretical instruction in specific areas, e.g., Business and Finance.
- Support students' academic and personal growth, helping them achieve their full potential.
- Develop and implement lesson plans that connect classroom learning to real-world applications.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the learning experience and address the needs of all students.
- Support student recruitment, retention, achievement, and progression, providing guidance and tailored support.
Requirements:
- Hold a level 3 AAT qualification or above - Essential.
- Are a qualified Teacher or willing to work towards.
- Have GCSEs at Grade 4/C or above in English and Maths, or equivalent.
- Possess relevant professional experience in the field of accounting or finance, with a focus on AAT qualifications - Essential.
- Have up-to-date knowledge and/or experience of teaching in one or more areas of AAT - Desirable.
- Understand current challenges and opportunities within the accounting sector that may influence curriculum development.
- Are familiar with potential career pathways in the accounting and finance industry.
