Imperial Recruitment Group are working with a global manufacturer based in Hartlepool who are looking to appoint a Shipping Clerk on a 12-month contract.
- Prepare all documents needed to ship products by air, sea, and road worldwide.
- Understand and follow rules for shipping hazardous materials, including proper classification and regulations.
- Book shipments and arrange collections with freight forwarders.
- Work with the packing and dispatch team to ensure goods are ready and paperwork is correct.
- Send full shipping document sets to customers to support customs clearance and payments.
- Use courier systems to create shipping labels and send smaller packages or samples.
- Provide shipping cost estimates and quotes.
- Complete additional export tasks when required.
- Arrange import clearance and delivery to UK sites when needed.
Experience in shipping, logistics, or import/export work.
