A warm, highly experienced and academically focused Governess is sought for a lovely family in Oxshott to take responsibility for the education, development and daily care of their 6-year-old daughter.
Nanny Duties
The ideal candidate will be confident supporting homework and school assessments, planning engaging educational and STEM-based activities, and coordinating the child’s school, tutors and extracurricular timetable. The Governess will also support the development of independence, confidence, good manners and strong daily routines.The family are looking for someone organised, proactive and genuinely passionate about education, who can build a close and trusting relationship with their daughter. Flexibility is essential, including availability during school holidays, INSET days, illness and occasional evenings, weekends and family travel.
Candidates must hold a degree and PGCE from a leading UK university, QTS and 3–5 years’ relevant teaching experience, ideally within the British independent-school system. Native-level British English and Paediatric First Aid are essential.Car provided – full driving licence essential.Hours: Monday – Friday 2pm – 7pm, full time during school holidays and flexibility required should G6 be off school unwell and inset days.Salary: £65,000gpa – £85,000gpa dependent on experience.Interviews to commence right away for a soon as possible start.
