A warm and welcoming family based in Belsize Park are seeking an experienced, professional and highly engaging Norland live-out nanny. The role involves caring for three children aged 8 years (B), 5 years (G) and 2 months (G), working on a mixture of both sole and shared charge alongside mum and a long-standing afterschool nanny of 7 years.
Key Responsibilities
- Primary care of the youngest baby, supporting developmental milestones, maintaining a consistent routine and providing a nurturing and stimulating environment.
- Occasional support with the older children, including coordinating school pick‑ups and accompanying activities as required.
- Work Monday to Friday, 8:45am – 6:45pm, with additional flexibility for occasional babysitting and proxy parenting.
- Communicate professionally with parents and household staff, adapt to a busy family environment, and use technology for child‑related tasks.
- Travel to the family home in Marbella for 4–5 weeks during summer holidays; travel to other locations during school breaks.
- Provide support with household duties as agreed, including working with a housekeeper and chef.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of private household experience in the UK; for overseas roles at least 5 years of experience.
- Strong team player with excellent communication skills.
- Passion for child development, capable of creating engaging, age‑appropriate activities that promote learning through play.
- Proactive, organized, energetic, and adaptable.
- Basic driving licence preferred; ability to provide a vehicle for duty when located in Spain.
- Bonus: German or Russian speaking ability.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £18 per hour (£65,523 gross per annum).
