Highly experienced, professional and organised Live in Governess sought for a lovely family based in Knightsbridge to support the education and development of an 11-year-old girl.
Responsibilities
Provide a warm, calm, and supportive environment that encourages the child’s confidence, independence, and strong academic habits.
Oversee homework, support educational progress, liaise with teachers and tutors, and manage school requirements, communications, and extracurricular activities.
Maintain structure, routine and the child’s emotional well‑being through a balanced, engaging approach.
Work collaboratively with the parents within the fully staffed household, respecting boundaries.
Travel internationally with the family on ski trips and boat holidays – swimming and skiing skills are preferred.
Driving duties are an additional bonus.
Schedule
Live in. Working hours Monday to Friday, 7 am – 9 pm, with downtime during the school day.
Qualifications
Minimum A‑Levels required; a college or university degree is preferred. A minimum of 5 years’ private household experience, including experience with a child aged 11, is essential.
