The Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel is located opposite the picturesque Russell Square Gardens in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, London. The newly acquired and refurbished IHG‑Brand Holiday Inn Bloomsbury Hotel boasts 317 rooms, a Starbucks ground‑floor coffee bar, a Media Lounge & co‑working space, a stylish Artful Critic Bar, 13 meeting rooms and a ballroom.
Role Overview
As Food & Beverage Manager, you will maintain a heavy operational presence, ensuring a calm approach under pressure and prioritising seamless service and guest satisfaction. You will oversee food & beverage operations across all outlets, manage the F&B team, maintain safety standards, manage stocks, produce financial reporting and create authentic London experiences for our guests.
Key Duties
- Oversee F&B service for meetings and events within the M&E space and maintain responsibility for food and beverage in these spaces, ensuring all functions run smoothly and customer requirements are met.
- Receive and respond to all customer feedback, ensuring satisfaction and dealing with guest feedback professionally and efficiently.
- Take responsibility for stock ordering and inventory for each outlet, ensuring all equipment and materials are ready for service.
- Recruit, onboard and inspire all F&B team members, preparing schedules so that adequate staffing levels run each shift.
What We’d Like From You
- Previous experience as Restaurant Manager or Food & Beverage Manager in a 4‑star or Deluxe standard hotel.
- A passion for hospitality – a drive to create memorable experiences that keep guests coming back.
- Personable and engaging, able to build rapport easily, with strong communication skills with internal departments and guests alike.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment.
- A natural leader who can motivate, develop a team’s skills and knowledge, and coach them to reach their full potential.
