About the Role
We’re looking for a calm, confident and service-led Security Team Member to help create a safe, welcoming and smoothly run guest environment, with a strong focus on our vibrant rooftop bar. You’ll balance visible reassurance with discreet professionalism, supporting great guest flow, responsible service and positive experiences at every touchpoint.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Maintain a calm, reassuring and professional presence across our guest‑facing areas
- Manage rooftop bar access, queues and guest flow, ensuring capacity limits are respected
- Support responsible alcohol service and welfare monitoring, escalating concerns to management when appropriate
- Respond promptly to incidents, guest concerns, lost property and welfare situations with empathy and sound judgement
- Carry out patrols, CCTV monitoring and security checks in line with established procedures
- Support crowd management during busy periods, events and group arrivals
- Work closely with duty management, bar teams and other departments to ensure seamless coordination
- Follow licensing objectives, risk assessments and life‑safety procedures at all times
- Communicate clearly with emergency services or local authorities when required
- Complete incident reports, shift handovers and daily updates accurately
- Represent the security team with a service‑focused mindset that enhances the overall guest experience
Who You Are
- Experienced in a security role, ideally within a hotel, hospitality or guest‑facing environment
- Calm, approachable and confident, even in high‑pressure situations
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable managing high‑volume environments such as rooftop bars or busy F&B venues
- A natural team player who values professionalism and collaboration
- SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential)
- First Aid certificate (advantageous)
- Fluent in spoken English; additional languages are welcomed
