Role: Shift Engineer at The Imperial - New Opening Hotel

Location: Bloomsbury, London

40 hours a week (5/7 days a week Flexibility is required)

About the Role: We’re seeking a hands-on Shift Engineer to maintain hotel facilities, systems and equipment. You’ll provide essential support to keep our property running safely, efficiently and to brand standards.

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs.
  • Monitor plant rooms, BMS and facility equipment.
  • Coordinate contractor visits and ensure safety compliance.
  • Respond to emergencies and prioritise repairs.
  • Work across guest rooms, public areas and back-of-house spaces.
  • Follow COSHH, H&S and hotel procedures at all times.

Who You Are:

  • Qualified in a relevant trade with experience in facilities or hotel engineering.
  • Strong understanding of H&S, fire safety and building systems.
  • Able to work shifts including nights and weekends.
  • Bonus: experience with systems such as Saeker or Unifocus.
