Kitchen Porter at Imperial Hotels London Group - Based at Tavistock Hotel

40 hours a week (5 days out of 7 days weekly rota) - £12.94 per Hour

We're looking for a talented and dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our kitchen team at our hotel near Russell Square in central London. As a key member of staff, you'll play an essential role in crafting memorable dining experiences for our guests.

  • Ensure compliance with food & safety by following safe practices and maintaining high personal hygiene standards.
  • Understand the correct usage and dosage of cleaning liquids and operate dishwashing, glass, cutlery, and other kitchen machines.
  • Maintain cleanliness of all kitchen surfaces, appliances, and utensils while assisting with stock storage, deliveries, and general kitchen upkeep as needed.

What We're Looking For:

  • 1 Year Experience in the Hotel Industry as a Kitchen Porter
  • Strong foundation in cooking techniques

Desirable (Not Essential but a Plus!):

  • Level 2 Food & Safety Qualification or similar
  • Experience in the hospitality or catering sector
  • Strong understanding of COHH and Food Safety Regulation
