About the Role
We are searching for an experienced and meticulous Head of Housekeeping to lead the department for our relaunch. As a senior leader in the operation, you will uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation and guest experience. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will guide, inspire and develop a high‐performing housekeeping team, ensuring seamless day‐to‐day delivery and consistently exceptional guest stays.
What You'll Be Doing
- Leading all housekeeping operations, ensuring impeccable cleanliness and presentation across rooms, suites and public areas
- Recruit, train and motivate a diverse housekeeping team, fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism and guest‐centered service
- Manage departmental budgets, staffing levels and resources to support efficient and high‐quality operations
- Ensure full compliance with health, safety and COSHH regulations, overseeing audits and documentation
- Collaborate closely with other departments to deliver smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences
- Conduct routine inspections, coordinating with maintenance teams to address any issues promptly
- Oversee laundry operations, stock control, and ordering of amenities
- Manage departmental payroll and scheduling to align with operational and budgetary goals
- Implement best‐practice processes and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Who You Are
- You will be experienced in a senior housekeeping role ideally in a new opening hotel environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, with the ability to deliver consistently high standards in a fast‐paced operation
- A strong people leader with proven experience in developing and motivating high‐performing teams
- Excellent organisational and planning skills, with experience managing budgets and resources
- Proficiency in hotel management systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships with guests, team members and suppliers
- Innovative mindset with a focus on elevating guest experience and operational efficiency
- Flexibility to work varied shifts in line with a 24/7 hotel operation
- Fluency in English - additional languages are advantageous
- Passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences
