About the Role: We’re looking for a warm, proactive and guest‑obsessed Guest Experience Porter to elevate every moment of a guest’s stay. You’ll be the friendly face greeting arrivals, the helpful guide answering questions, and the dependable support ensuring our lobby, driveway and guest areas run like clockwork.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Welcome guests with genuine warmth and assist with luggage on arrival and departure
- Escort guests to their rooms and give a quick, confident introduction to hotel facilities
- Offer helpful local knowledge – from transport options to neighbourhood highlights
- Respond swiftly to guest requests, ensuring every interaction feels personal and polished
- Keep the lobby, driveway and entrance immaculate, organised and guest‑ready
- Manage luggage storage safely, accurately and with care
- Assist with taxis, ride‑share services, transport arrangements and group movements
- Coordinate with Reception, Concierge and Housekeeping for seamless service flow
- Anticipate guest needs before they ask and deliver service in a calm, elevated and considerate manner
- Support busy periods with professionalism and clear communication
- Uphold all health, safety and security procedures
- Contribute positively to team briefings and continuous improvement
Who You Are:
- Experienced in guest‑facing or hospitality roles with strong communication skills
- Warm, confident and naturally guest‑focused
- Comfortable handling luggage safely and professionally
- A calm organiser with great attention to detail
- Able to communicate clearly in English to CEFR B2 level
- Preferably has hotel porter/concierge experience, local area knowledge and familiarity with lifestyle or premium properties
