We are part of the Imperial London Family of Hotels, a family-run company with over 185 years of history. We're rewriting the traditional hospitality mindset, paving the way for a fresh approach at our 8 hotels in Bloomsbury. Our purpose is to provide authentic London experiences and memorable stays to all our guests. And we believe that starts with the right team.

We are currently recruiting for a Resourcing Officer for Imperial London Hotels. The successful applicant will have a proven track record within Hospitality recruitment, either in-house or within a recruitment agency. Reporting to the Resourcing Manager, you will work within our People and Development team providing recruitment talent solutions for Imperial London Hotels. In this hands-on operational position, you will be an individual who is passionate about recruitment and wants to work in partnership with our hotels to deliver great talent for our business. The role is ideal for someone who's used to reacting quickly to staffing requests. Beyond the logistics, you will be responsible for building rapport with workers, maintaining strong relationships, and ensuring high levels of engagement and satisfaction.

What you'll be doing:

  • Responsible for managing end to end recruitment process for all vacancies from attraction, interview screening and offer process and ensure a smooth transition to onboarding.
  • Advertising of all available vacancies through ATS and associated job boards. Regular follow up with Hiring Managers to ensure candidates are short-listed and regretted in a timely manner.
  • Utilise multiple channels including LinkedIn, job boards, social media and external agencies to attract candidates and build talent pipeline.
  • Provide coaching support to Hiring Managers to ensure best practice with recruitment and selection and compliance with employment law.
  • Takes lead in early careers placements liaising with trainee provider shortlisting and coordinating for group interviews.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for ILH at all times and support at internal and external recruitment events as appropriate.
  • Work with the resourcing manager to maximise opportunities to raise the profile of ILH employer brand and produce brand attraction tools.

What we'd like from you:

  • You will have proven experience gained either from within Hospitality recruitment, either in-house or within a recruitment agency.
  • Previous experience with direct sourcing methods and used to dealing with both volume and individual recruitment.
  • You will have a good understanding of UK employment law and how this impacts recruitment/equality and diversity in recruitment practices.
  • You will be extremely organised with the ability to prioritise a busy workload and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and trust at all levels both externally and internally.
  • A positive self-motivated and passionate individual with the tenacity to challenge and influence.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in using MS Office Word, Excel, Email.
