Overview
Shift Engineer /Property Maintenance Officer at Imperial London Hotels Group, Bloomsbury.
40 hours a week (5/7 days a week; flexibility is required).
We’re seeking a Trade Specialist to join our dedicated property maintenance team. As an essential member of the team, you will be responsible for overseeing various daily maintenance tasks, which could include but are not limited to carpentry, electrical or plumbing work, general building repair, painting, flooring and general facility repair, ensuring that guest bedrooms are well-maintained and consistently presented in immaculate condition.
Based in Bloomsbury, you\’ll be in the heart of London. You’ll be part of the Imperial London Family of Hotels, a family-run company with over 185 years of history. We’re rewriting the traditional hospitality mindset, paving the way for a fresh approach at our 8 hotels in Bloomsbury. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily maintenance tasks across carpentry, electrical, plumbing, general building repair, painting, flooring and facility repair.
- Ensure guest bedrooms are well-maintained and presented to a high standard.
- Support health and safety and maintain high standards of functionality within the property.
What we’re looking for
- 2 years experience in Property Maintenance or a similar role
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach to maintaining high standards of safety and functionality
- Team player who thrives in a busy environment
- Experience with maintenance management systems
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Desirable (Not required but a plus)
- Proficient in using Saeker and OPERA PMS System
- Experience working in hotels
