We are currently recruiting for Reservations Agents at Holiday Inn BloomsburyHotel based in the heart of Bloomsbury to join our vibrant and multi-cultural team.
As Reservations Agent you are the first point of contact that our guests have with Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, with our guest promoting IHG way of sales, recognizing IHG rewards members and promoting IHG properties and standards, building rapport and trust quickly over the telephone, understanding their individual requirements to enjoy a memorable stay at Holiday Inn Bloomsbury.
We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Reservations Agent to join our office-based team near Russell Square, central London. In this role, you’ll play a crucial part in managing reservations and hotel guest enquiries, primarily through email and other digital channels.
Your key duties will be as follows:
- Responds promptly with reservations for Holiday Inn Bloomsbury, updates and amends bookings through Opera, ensuring that all bookings are accurately entered into the system in a timely manner.
- Manages bookings via various systems such as Expedia, Booking.com and many more travel agencies, wholesalers and OTA.
- Works closely with Operations team ensuring a memorable experience for all guests booked in.
- Provides our guests with good knowledge of our hotel facilities, public areas, restaurants and bedroom types.
- Keeps up to date and provides information on new and current offers, packages, price and information about the hotels in the group.
- Following sales and revenue strategy to make new bookings and offers.
What we’d like from you
- Ideally you will have previous experience in Hotels Reception or Reservations environment.
- A good level of spoken and written English
- You will have a positive can-do attitude, with the ability to work both independently as a team.
- You will have a confident and engaging telephone manner
- Flexible and reliable to work allocated shifts
- Working knowledge of Opera or similar PMS is preferred
