We are now recruiting a Meeting & Events Assistant at our newly acquired and refurbished IHG Branded, Holiday Inn Bloomsbury with 317 rooms. Nestled in the vibrant heart of Bloomsbury, London, it’s a lively place to be, offering a Starbucks ground floor coffee bar, Media Lounge & co-working space area, and the Stylish Artful Critic Bar, 13 Meeting Rooms and 1 Ballroom.

We’re looking for a dedicated and detail-orientated individual to join our Meetings and Events team. As a key member of our department, you’ll play an essential role in organising and managing a variety of events, from corporate meetings to social gatherings, ensuring every detail is executed seamlessly. You’ll further develop your career in a busy and supportive environment, with access to learning pathways and further training from day one.

What we’re looking for:

  • A background in event planning, coordination, or a related field.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Team player who thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment.
  • Experience with event management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Desirable Skills (Not required but a plus):

  • Certifications in Event Management, Hospitality, or related fields.
  • Experience in the hospitality industry, particularly in meetings and events.
