About The Role:
We are looking for a friendly and reliable Day Porter to join our Front Office team at the Royal National Hotel, part of the Imperial London Family of Hotels. As a Day Porter, you will play a key role in ensuring our guests receive a warm welcome and outstanding service throughout their stay. Acting as one of the first points of contact, you'll assist with luggage, provide directions and information, support the check-in process, respond to guest requests and work closely with colleagues across the hotel to deliver a memorable guest experience. No two days are the same. From welcoming arrivals and assisting visitors to supporting hotel operations and helping maintain a safe, secure and presentable environment, you'll be at the heart of our guest journey.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience providing excellent customer service in a guest-facing environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Confidence handling guest enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Ability to work as part of a team and support multiple departments
- Good spoken English for guest communication and safety purposes
- Basic IT skills, including email and Microsoft Office
- Flexible approach to working shifts, including weekends and public holidays
- Ability to carry luggage and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
Desirable (Not Required but a Plus):
- Previous experience as a Porter, Concierge, Security Officer or within a hotel environment
- Additional language skills
