Volunteering Manager St Marys Hospital, Paddington About Us Were Imperial Health Charity, an organisation that helps our hospitals do more through grants, arts, volunteering, and fundraising. We support the five hospitals of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust: Charing Cross, Hammersmith, Queen Charlottes & Chelsea, St Marys, and the Western Eye. We are now looking for a Volunteering Manager to join us on a full-time, permanent basis, working 35 hours per week. The Role As a Volunteering Manager, you will lead and inspire volunteer programmes at St Marys and Western Eye Hospitals, ensuring they provide mutual benefit to volunteers and our beneficiaries. You will inspire NHS staff and lead teams of volunteers from the local community to contribute meaningfully to our hospitals and the NHS Trust. Building effective partnerships across the NHS Trust, the wider healthcare sector, and local communities, you will design and develop volunteering opportunities, ensuring the delivery of high-quality operations and safe, engaging environments for volunteers. Additionally, you will: – Lead the recruitment and management of volunteers to grow our volunteering community – Oversee the charitys on-site presence and emergency action plans – Provide line management to the Volunteer Officer About You To be considered as a Volunteering Manager, you will need: – Experience of working with volunteers and managing volunteer programmes – Experience of managing multiple projects to a high quality and delivering intended outcomes – Experience managing relationships across complex organisations – Experience of charities and/or health-related organisations – Knowledge of delivering health improvement or community health equity programmes – Evidence of continuous professional development The closing date for this role is 8th January 2025.
