You will have a diverse workload with your own portfolio of stakeholders, campaigns and projects to manage, as well as working across the team’s regular channels.

You will look for ways to improve our internal communications channels and outputs, using data, analytics and audience insight to measure the impact of communications.

You will support and advise stakeholders and communication colleagues across the institution, building relationships and championing best practice.

What we are looking for

  • Proven experience of managing audience-focused, multi-channel internal communication campaigns within a large and complex organisation, using data and insight to measure impact and inform decision‑making.
  • Writing, editing and proofreading abilities, including the ability to coach and improve the work of others.
  • Relationship‑building skills, with the confidence to work collaboratively and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • An organised and proactive communicator who can manage competing priorities, work independently and respond effectively to emerging issues in a fast‑paced environment.

What we can offer you

  • The opportunity to work on high‑profile communications that support Imperial's strategic priorities and major institutional initiatives.
  • Opportunities to broaden your skills across digital communications, content creation, employee engagement and strategic communications.
  • A supportive and collaborative team environment committed to professional development and continuous learning.
  • Access to Imperial's extensive training and development opportunities, helping you grow your career in communications.
  • Benefit from a sector‑leading salary and remuneration package (including 43 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).
  • Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on‑site leisure facilities and cycle‑to‑work scheme.
