Do you have research management and leadership skills, with a background in the administration and management of complex global partnerships? The Centre for Antimicrobial Optimisation is seeking someone to play a pivotal support role in coordinating interdisciplinary research, including:

  • Identifying opportunities for funding and coordinating, drafting, and costing funding applications;
  • Supporting financial management of awarded grants and drafting/coordinating required reporting;
  • Coordination and administration of key meetings;
  • Supporting the recruitment of staff and PhD students where relevant.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying and publicising relevant funding opportunities;
  • Facilitating the development of large strategic bids;
  • Providing advice and support to grant applicants;
  • Supporting cross-discipline research initiatives.

Qualifications and experience:

  • Experience as an administrator or project manager in a research-intensive environment;
  • A proactive approach with the ability to prioritise in changeable environments;
  • Ability to coordinate multiple complex projects simultaneously;
  • Experience in antimicrobial resistance, infectious diseases, or global health, especially in interdisciplinary academic/NHS/clinical partnerships, is advantageous.
