We have a fantastic opportunity for a proactive, customer-orientated professional with prior Higher Education experience to join the Business School MBA Recruitment & Admissions Team. As a Recruitment & Admissions Officer, you will have the opportunity to play a key role in admitting students onto our world-class MBA programmes.
What you would be doing
You will be the first point of contact for candidates guiding them from initial query and application through to enrolment. You will work with Faculty, our Programmes Marketing and Insights Teams and departments across the University to help us achieve our goal of recruiting high-calibre students to our suite of MBA programmes.
What we are looking for
- Previous experience of working within Higher Education in a customer-focused environment, preferably within an admissions team.
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work quickly and methodically to meet deadlines.
- Strong IT skills which include creating spreadsheets and databases, manipulating data using formulas and creating statistical reports.
- The ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with a wide variety of people, ranging from prospective students to senior academic staff.
