Imperial College London is seeking a Senior Property Operations Manager to join their property team based at their White City campus. A global top ten university with world-changing impact, Imperial College London is a world-leading university for science, technology, engineering, medicine and business (STEMB). Imperial has one of the largest and most complex university estate portfolios in the country, with over 500,000 sqm of space predominantly in London, and further operational, commercial and investment property interests elsewhere in the UK.

This role is integral to managing Imperial’s commercial residential assets and ensuring efficient service charge accounting for both Imperial’s commercial tenants and situations where Imperial is the tenant. The role will manage a mixed portfolio that includes Private Rental, Key Worker Accommodation (Imperial Living), Build to Rent assets, and commercial lettings.

The Senior Property Operations Manager will be responsible for overseeing service charge accounting, which involves the recharge or payment of estate charges and services to Imperial’s commercial tenants. This requires specialised knowledge and experience in cross-sector property, contracts management, and facilities management, and will be responsible for identifying and implementing operational FM improvements, supervising service providers, and managing day-to-day property and estates management matters.

We are seeking candidates who possess exceptional stakeholder management skills with proven experience in property portfolio management, a strong understanding of service charge accounting, and expertise in contracts management and facilities management.
