Imperial College London is seeking a Property Manager to join their property and estates team based at their White City campus. A global top ten university with world-changing impact, Imperial College London is a world-leading university for science, technology, engineering, medicine and business (STEMB). Imperial has one of the largest and most complex university estate portfolios in the country, with over 500,000 sqm of space predominantly in London, and further operational, commercial and investment property interests elsewhere in the UK.

As Property Manager, you will support the Senior Property Manager to oversee the strategic and operational management of Imperial’s diverse property portfolio (excluding the White City Tech Campus), ensuring compliance, enhancing value, and aligning with the institution’s academic and operational objectives. The role is multi-faceted and involves the stewardship of freehold and leasehold properties, focusing on operational, office, retail, residential, and agricultural assets.

You will be required to undertake and manage activities that demand a specialised knowledge and experience of cross-sector property, the processes and procedures involved in its professional practice, and the application of creative solutions for a modern, fit for purpose property service within a multi-layered, progressive, and world-renowned Higher Education Institution.

The role requires the ability and experience of delivering professional expertise in landlord and tenant management, leasing, planning, service charge and legal matters, while driving income generation. You will possess exceptional stakeholder management experience as you’ll be dealing with internal and external tenants, academic and administrative staff.

The successful candidate needs to be professionally qualified (member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, RICS) with some post-qualification experience in the active management of property/estates in a complex environment.

Closing date for applications: Monday 26th May 2025.
