About the role
The Analytics and Operations Group at Imperial Business School invites applications for a faculty position in Analytics and Operations at any rank (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor). We are particularly interested in candidates applying at the assistant professor level.
The positions require a strong record of research and demonstrated excellence in teaching and service and a (PhD in Business, Management, Computer Science, Operations Research/Management, Statistics, Engineering; (degree to be obtained before September 2025).
You should demonstrate capability for high-quality innovative research in your area, a strong research agenda and pipeline, and a line of research relevant to Data Science, Business Analytics, Operations Research, Operations Management and/or Information Science/MIS.
Early-career candidates should demonstrate exceptional potential and passion for research, as evidenced by a strong job market paper and a promising pipeline. Candidates at more advanced stages (Advanced Assistant, Associate, or Full Professors) are expected to have an established record of impactful research and publications in leading journals to commensurate with the level of appointment. Those appointed at the Full Professor level will also be expected to take on key service and leadership responsibilities within the School.
