About the role

We are looking for a Web Developer / PHP developer to join the Digital Education Office. The post supports the wider objectives of the Digital Education Office to develop excellence in delivering innovative Medical Education programmes and improving the student experience. The postholder will contribute to shaping and delivering Digital Education Strategy for the Faculty of Medicine and help us to create world-class training and education for future doctors.

What you would be doing

You will work closely with academic and administrative colleagues within the Faculty and will be contributing to the development, delivery and maintenance of Student/Staff Portal created in PHP. You will also help identify other areas of improvement in the Faculty’s digital processes and suggest sustainable and scalable solutions. Other duties will include helping with technical customer support queries via our internal ticket system and writing support documentation for both technical and non-technical end users.

The Digital Education Office (DEO) at Imperial College London develops and supports digital learning solutions to deliver the Faculty of Medicine’s vision of excellence in education. It supports a suite of blended and online programmes across the Faculty, as well as open content (MOOC) and online short courses provision. This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is for a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
