About the role Are you an experienced programme delivery leader who thrives in fast-paced environments and is passionate about delivering exceptional learning experiences?Join Imperial's Lifelong Learning as a Senior Programme Delivery Manager, where you will lead the operational delivery of a diverse and growing portfolio of programmes, including open enrolment programmes, executive education, summer and winter schools, customised client programmes, and online learning.
In this senior leadership role, you will manage a team of programme delivery professionals, drive operational excellence, and play a key role in shaping the future of programme delivery across the Lifelong Learning portfolio.
What you would be doing Lead the operational planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of Lifelong Learning programmes, ensuring a consistently high-quality learner experience.
Manage, coach and develop Programme Delivery Managers, Programme Delivery Coordinators and Programme Delivery Associates, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and continuous improvement.
Oversee resource planning, staffing and operational delivery across multiple concurrent programmes.
Build and maintain strong relationships with academics, clients and internal stakeholders to ensure successful programme outcomes.
Act as a senior escalation point for operational, learner and client issues, providing effective solutions and leadership.
Identify and implement opportunities to improve processes, systems and the overall learner experience.
Monitor programme budgets and ensure resources are managed effectively and efficiently.
Support safeguarding compliance and act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead within Lifelong Learning.

Due to the nature of the role, some evening and weekend working will be required to support programme delivery activities.
The role also involves occasional UK and international travel and may require support for residential programmes, including occasional overnight stays.
Time off in lieu and flexible working arrangements will be provided.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake safeguarding training and act as a Designated Safeguarding Lead, ensuring compliance with Imperial's safeguarding policies and procedures.
As this post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974, a satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check, at the appropriate level, will be required for the successful candidate.
