As a Senior Client Relationship Manager, you will build trusted client relationships, drive the successful delivery of bespoke learning programmes, and identify opportunities to deepen partnerships and grow impact.
Acting as the client's key point of contact, you will work alongside world-leading academics and specialist colleagues across Lifelong Learning to create exceptional learning experiences that address real-world business challenges.
This is a varied and rewarding role that combines relationship management, commercial insight, stakeholder engagement and project leadership in a fast-paced, collaborative and purpose-driven environment.
What you would be doing Build and nurture strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted partner and ensuring an outstanding client and participant experience.
Manage and grow a portfolio of client accounts, identifying opportunities for programme expansion, repeat business and new collaborations.
Support business development activity by contributing to proposals, bids and client presentations, and helping to progress commercial opportunities.
Lead the planning and coordination of complex executive and professional education programmes, ensuring delivery on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, overseeing risks, dependencies, schedules and stakeholder engagement across diverse programmes.
Collaborate with world-leading faculty, industry experts and internal colleagues to design innovative, impactful learning solutions that meet client needs.
Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the programme lifecycle, ensuring effective communication and stakeholder management.
Develop programme budgets and costings, negotiate contributor fees, and support the commercial success and profitability of programmes.
Monitor client activity, pipeline performance and programme data to generate insights, track progress and support informed decision-making.
Champion excellent customer service, ensuring programmes meet client expectations, quality standards and strategic objectives.
Work across multidisciplinary teams to deliver seamless programme experiences and contribute to the continued growth of Imperial's Lifelong Learning portfolio.
What we are looking for We are seeking a highly organised and commercially minded relationship manager with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
You will have experience managing complex projects and stakeholder relationships, balancing strategic thinking with outstanding attention to detail.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, you will build trusted partnerships, identify opportunities for growth, and collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality learning solutions that create lasting impact.
Experience in executive education, professional services, higher education, or a similarly relationship-driven environment would be advantageous.
The successful candidate will bring: Experience in account management, client relationship management and/or project management, delivering successful outcomes for external clients.
Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build credibility and influence senior internal and external stakeholders.
