We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Programme Administrator (Assessment) to support all years of our BSc Medical Biosciences (BMB) programme. As a Programme Administrator (Assessments), you will primarily provide administrative support to the Programme Manager and the two Programme Officers responsible for delivering BMB assessments.
You will support the operational team delivering these assessments, recruiting casual exam staff, producing assessment materials, assisting with the production and maintenance of assessment spreadsheets for results and marking, and any other tasks deemed reasonable in order to support the effective delivery of assessments. This is an exciting, varied role which provides an opportunity to work with colleagues from across the institution.
You should be educated to A-Level standard or equivalent; experience in a similar role within Higher Education would be desirable. It is also essential that you have experience of providing a responsive, customer-focused service to staff and students via a central email inbox, and of supporting assessments.
To excel in this role, you will have strong organisational skills, the ability to set and work to deadlines and adapt to changing priorities. You will also need excellent communication and interpersonal skills and be able to work independently as well as part of a larger team.
