Do you want to support the growth of a globally competitive innovation ecosystem? This role supports companies across the WestTech London innovation clusters to collaborate with Imperial, helping them access student talent, specialist equipment, academic expertise and relevant events. Working closely with partner office and lab operators in Hammersmith, Old Oak and White City, you will help facilitate partnerships and collaborations that drive innovation, jobs and investment.

What you would be doing

  • You will work closely with companies based across the WestTech London innovation clusters in Hammersmith, Old Oak and White City to support collaboration with Imperial.
  • Your role will involve helping companies access Imperial’s student talent, specialist equipment, academic expertise and relevant collaboration opportunities, while building strong relationships with colleagues across Imperial and partner organisations.
  • You will provide regular updates to companies on upcoming opportunities, map and maintain routes into courses, projects and internships, and support companies to pursue these opportunities.
  • You will also help maintain an up to date view of Imperial’s specialist facilities, facilitate access for companies, and support the delivery and promotion of relevant events and networks across the WestTech London ecosystem.

What we are looking for

  • Experience working with a range of internal and external stakeholders and building effective professional relationships.
  • Experience supporting collaboration, partnerships or engagement activity within a complex organisational environment.
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain accurate, up to date information.
  • Experience supporting the coordination and delivery of events and related communications.
  • An interest in supporting collaboration between companies and universities within an innovation ecosystem.

This role is based at various locations: White City Campus, Refinery (ARC West London), and Old Oak Innovation Cluster. This role is full time, fixed term for 2 years.
