Working across a broad portfolio of initiatives, including those focused on widening participation, you will collect, analyse and communicate data that drives meaningful, evidence-based decisions aligned with Imperial's Learning and Teaching Strategy, Class of 2030 Strategy and the university's Access and Participation Plan.
In this varied and impactful role, you will:
- Support the development and maintenance of processes to monitor participation, engagement, success measures and outcomes across projects, with a particular focus on widening participation.
- Collect, analyse and triangulate quantitative and qualitative data (e.g. surveys, interviews, focus groups, administrative datasets) to assess project effectiveness and impact.
- Produce reports, briefings and presentations for committees and working groups to facilitate effective oversight and decision-making.
- Develop and maintain monitoring tools, dashboards (e.g. Power BI) and evaluation frameworks to support consistent insight generation.
- Innovate by recommending changes to working practices and methods.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented individual who can demonstrate:
- Administrative experience in a higher education setting, with a genuine interest in learning, teaching and the student experience.
- Strong data skills - experience collecting, analysing and presenting both quantitative and qualitative data, with the ability to turn findings into clear, actionable insights.
- Knowledge of the widening participation agenda in the UK and an understanding of the higher education academic environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage a busy and varied workload, prioritise effectively and meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
- Strong written and oral communication skills, with the ability to produce materials for a wide range of audiences including reports, presentations and web content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), with experience of or willingness to develop skills in Power BI.
What we can offer you:
- The opportunity to contribute to work at a world-leading institution and make a real difference to the student experience.
- A supportive working culture that champions professional development and encourages innovation.
- Benefit from a sector-leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days' annual leave and generous pension schemes).
- Access to a range of workplace benefits including a flexible working policy from day one, generous family leave packages, on-site leisure facilities and cycle-to-work scheme.
- Interest-free season ticket loan schemes for travel.
- Be part of a diverse, inclusive and collaborative work culture with various staff networks and resources to support your personal and professional wellbeing.
This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is for a fixed-term contract for 24 months.
