We are seeking a Digital Systems Officer to join the Faculty of Natural Sciences Digital Services Team at Imperial College London. This is an exciting opportunity to help design, develop and support digital solutions that improve collaboration, automate processes and enhance data-driven decision-making across one of the world's leading scientific faculties.
As Digital Systems Officer, you will play a key role in the development, management and optimisation of the Faculty's digital platforms and services. You will work closely with colleagues across the Faculty to understand business requirements, develop SharePoint and Power Platform solutions, improve digital processes and support users in making the most of Microsoft 365 technologies. You will also contribute to data analysis and reporting, deliver training and guidance, and help shape the Faculty's approach to digital working and collaboration. Working alongside the Digital Systems Manager and wider Digital Services Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to a wide variety of projects ranging from workflow automation and app development to intranet improvements and system integrations.
We are looking for someone who:
- Has experience of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem, particularly SharePoint Online
- Has experience of developing solutions using Microsoft Power Apps and Power Automate
- Enjoys analysing business requirements and developing practical digital solutions
- Has strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Can communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences
- Has experience of supporting and training users
- Is proactive, customer-focused and committed to continuous improvement
- Can manage multiple priorities and work effectively both independently and as part of a team

The Digital Services Team supports staff and students through the development of innovative digital services, systems and solutions that improve efficiency, collaboration and user experience. This is a full-time fixed-term position available until 31 December 2029, based at Imperial's South Kensington Campus with hybrid working available in line with Imperial policy.
