In this role, you will manage food production administration and support the Procurement and Business Support Team within the Hospitality Department. Your responsibilities include:
- Controlling, ordering, purchasing, and transferring stock according to departmental procedures.
- Maintaining data systematically, both manually and via computer, and generating reports as needed.
- Collating and ordering non-scratch cooked event items based on daily booking sheets and ensuring accurate billing for client amendments.
- Assisting staff with training on in-house systems and back-of-house processes and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
- Previous office administration experience in a similar role.
- Experience working in a food-related environment.
- Knowledge of food and menu costing.
- Ability to understand, interpret, and communicate stock and financial data.
- Strong numerical skills for financial analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and finance-related software (e.g., UNIWARE, COSMIC, FnB), with the ability to learn new software quickly.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and accuracy, capable of meeting deadlines.
- Ability to make well-balanced decisions independently.
- Self-motivated and a good team player.
- Flexible approach, willing to work 5 days over 7 across all Imperial sites.
