About the role

Are you interested in shaping how the world addresses antimicrobial resistance (AMR) as the Fleming Initiative Policy Fellow? This is a unique opportunity to work on this area in the run-up to the centenary of Fleming’s discovery of Penicillin in 2028.

What you would be doing

You will be looking internationally at what can be done to tackle AMR, bringing people together to co‑design solutions and influencing national and global policy.

What we are looking for

You will be an experienced policy professional with a background in academic, industry, government/civil service or consulting organisations with a health focus.

What we can offer you

We can offer a role working on one of the biggest health issues the world faces, with great colleagues from a range of disciplines. You will have the opportunity to continue your career at a world‑leading institution and be part of our mission to use science for humanity. You will benefit from a sector‑leading salary and remuneration package (including 41 days’ annual leave and generous pension schemes).

Further information

You will be part of a multidisciplinary team at the Fleming Initiative (a partnership between Imperial College London and Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust) which is government and industry backed. This is a full‑time post, fixed‑term contract for 12 months based at St Mary’s Campus.
