About the role

As our Education Projects Coordinator (Community Development), you will play a key role in supporting the delivery of initiatives that enhance teaching, learning and the student experience at Imperial. Working across a broad portfolio of initiatives, you will coordinate projects and events from planning through to evaluation, engaging a wide range of stakeholders across the University. You will build networks, gather insights from engagement and feedback and use data to assess impact and inform continuous improvement, helping to shape a more connected and supportive academic, teaching and student community aligned with Imperial's Learning and Teaching Strategy and the Class of 2030.

What you would be doing

  • Support the planning, coordination and delivery of a diverse programme of projects, initiatives and events aligned with Imperial's Learning and Teaching Strategy and Class of 2030 ambitions.
  • Manage the full lifecycle of events and engagement activities, including planning, logistics, stakeholder coordination and post-event evaluation.
  • Collect and analyse data (such as attendance, engagement and feedback) to evaluate impact, highlight successes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Build and nurture networks across the University community, using insights from engagement to inform and improve future activity.

What we are looking for

  • Experience working in a higher education or similar environment, with an interest in learning, teaching and the student experience.
  • Proven experience of planning, coordinating and evaluating events or engagement activities, including managing logistics and stakeholders.
  • Experience using data and feedback to evaluate activity and inform improvements.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective working relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and partners across all levels.
  • Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to improving processes and delivery.
  • A collaborative, flexible approach, with a willingness to support wider team activities when needed.

This is a full-time post (35 hours per week). This role is a fixed-term contract for 36 months.
