The Maths Student Colloquium Committee is a student‑led team in the Department of Mathematics at Imperial College London. We organise weekly student talks and flagship events (such as the Warwick–Imperial Maths Conference, WIMP), providing a platform for undergraduates and postgraduates to share their mathematical interests, practise presenting, and build a vibrant academic community.
As a committee member, you may be involved in:
- Selecting and supporting speakers
- Organising events and logistics
- Publicity and design (posters, social media, e‑mail)
- Liaising with staff, sponsors, and external partners
This is a great opportunity to shape the mathematical culture at Imperial, develop organisation and leadership skills, and work closely with other motivated students.
