Are you a skilled clinician passionate about sexual health and ready to expand your practice role? We are seeking a Band 6 Trainee Enhanced Clinical Practitioner / Trainee Nurse Practitioner (tECP/tNP) to join our forward-thinking, inclusive Level 3 Integrated Sexual Health Service.
We welcome applicants from nursing, midwifery, or allied health professional backgrounds who are keen to work autonomously in a supportive and multidisciplinary environment.
Role Responsibilities:
- Undertake a structured training programme supported by the consultant nurses.
- Develop skills across STI management, contraception, and wider sexual health presentations.
- Gain competencies aligned with enhanced clinical practice.
- Be supported to progress into a fully autonomous ECP/NP role on completion of portfolio, competencies, and academic learning.
- On successful completion of all required competencies, academic modules, and portfolio assessment, you will be eligible for progression to a Band 7 Enhanced Clinical Practitioner / Nurse Practitioner role within the service, subject to panel review.
