Overview
We are seeking a qualified and compassionate Counsellor or Therapist to join our dedicated team at the Wolfson Fertility Centre. Renowned for innovation and excellence in IVF treatment and patient care, our clinic offers a dynamic and rewarding environment.
In this role, you will provide specialist support to individuals, couples, and groups undergoing assisted conception treatment. You will also offer guidance to team members working in this complex and emotionally demanding field.
Responsibilities
- Development and delivery of a professional, independent counselling service based within The Wolfson Fertility Centre and forming part of multi-disciplinary team care.
- Provision of support counselling to those attending the Hammersmith Hospital for infertility investigations and/or treatment or donor procedures.
- Provision of implications counselling to those who are considering, are undertaking or have undertaken assisted conception, donation or storage procedures.
- Provision of therapeutic counselling as needed by those whose donation, infertility, treatment and/or outcomes give rise to particular difficulties or distress.

Qualifications
- Accredited membership of a recognised counselling or therapy body
- Experience in infertility counselling.
- BICA accreditation or completion of the BICA Foundation Course with a commitment to achieving accreditation
- Access to independent supervision (BICA-accredited if not yet BICA-accredited).
