Imperial College Healthcare (ICHT) NHS Trust wishes to recruit an Obstetrics and Gynaecology registrar with an interest in obstetric medicine to one year fellowship at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital. This is a post in a tertiary unit and is available from October 2025. The duties of this post will be delivered at Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital.

Queen Charlotte’s and Chelsea Hospital is part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS trust and was awarded Outstanding by the CQC at its last inspection. The obstetric medicine service at QCCH has an international reputation and receives referrals from all over the UK. We are looking for a highly motivated and caring individual to work within our excellent team. The successful candidate would work under the supervision of the consultant obstetricians and maternal medicine specialists, consultant obstetric physicians and specialist midwives. There are two general obstetric medicine clinics per week, as well as specialist haematology, neurology, renal and pre-pregnancy clinics. The fellow would gain experience in the management of both acute and chronic medical diseases in pregnancy. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual who has already commenced training in O&G but wishes to gain specific experience in Obstetric Medicine at this internationally renowned tertiary unit whilst

maintaining and developing obstetric skills by participating in an on call rot, This is a 12 month position at registrar level, ideally suited to a candidate who is interested in developing their skills in obstetric medicine within an internationally renowned centre.

The post also includes an out of hours on call component at registrar level for both obstetrics and gynecology to participate in a 1 in 10 on call rota. The hospital is covered at night by an obstetric consultant (resident until 11pm then from home thereafter), a non resident Gynaecology consultant, a Senior Registrar (Specialist trainee 6/7), Registrar (Specialist Trainee 3-5) and SHOs (Specialist trainee 1/2).

Depending on experience £41,750 – £64,288 per annum plus London Weighting +1B banding
