Overview
We are looking for enthusiastic and dedicated Radiographers to join our MRI team at the Hammersmith Hospital. The post will provide the opportunity to gain clinical skills and experience in MRI (previous experience in MRI is desirable but not essential); education and training are key elements of the department. Being flexible and innovative in your ways of working will be fundamental to your role and good communication skills will be essential.
Responsibilities
- Perform a broad spectrum of MRI scanning procedures, including cardiac, renal, hepatobiliary and gynaecological imaging.
- Patient safety screening, administration of IV contrast / IV cannulation and maintaining documentation of procedures.
- Communication and liaison with Radiologists, Nursing staff, admin and clerical colleagues.
- Attend to weekend duties as an integral part of the working week; note that night cover is not provided at present.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Experience in MRI is desirable but not essential.
- Flexible and innovative in working, with good communication skills.
- Role will involve operating within an environment that may require a broad spectrum of MRI procedures including cardiac, renal, hepatobiliary and gynaecological imaging.
