As the head nurse in our Dialysis Unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the highest standards of patient care. You will lead a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, overseeing the daily operations of the unit, and ensuring that all patients receive compassionate, efficient, and effective treatment. Your leadership will be crucial in maintaining a supportive and collaborative environment, fostering continuous improvement, and upholding our commitment to excellence in patient care., + To provide a clear focus for clinical leadership, providing a highly visible and assertive presence, responsible for ensuring the delivery of high quality care. Ensuring that the needs of the patient are placed at the centre of care delivery.

Commitment to elevating all aspects of the patient experience. Work in collaboration with the Lead Haemodialysis Nurse and Private Healthcare Management team in the delivery of both local and Trust initiatives pertaining to achieving greater patient satisfaction.

Assist and support the Lead Clinician and Lead Haemodialysis Nurse in strategic and financial planning for the general nursing service to ensure that financial and performance targets are met

Ensure ward managers are effectively managing their wards and/or departments within the agreed budget.

Work collaboratively with the Lead Haemodialysis Nurse in the delivery of the business plan and the Trust’s nursing strategy.

To supervise the professional development and appraisal of staff through their line management structure

To take responsibility for clinical standards, bench marking/synbiotics/Quality Improvement Framework as delegated by the Lead Nurse.
