Responsibilities
- Ensure invoices are raised in a timely manner and collate information from various sources to ensure that all private income is captured.
- Provide a comprehensive and effective administration service to support the smooth running of the business office as an integral part of the administration team.
- Communicate effectively with patients in person and by telephone, as well as with Consultants, their secretaries, colleagues and other departments within Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and with external agencies.
- Demonstrate excellent customer care, interpersonal skills and a professional and courteous telephone manner.
- Demonstrate excellent time management, prioritisation and workload management, and remain calm whilst working under pressure.
- Be prepared for difficult conversations around finance issues; experience of working in a healthcare setting or similar environment would be advantageous.
