Person specification

Education/qualifications

  • Essential criteria: 1st level Registered Nurse Specialist Occupational Health Qualification. Evidence of continuing professional development.
  • Desirable criteria: Qualification Diploma / Degree in Health & Safety, Wellbeing / Health Promotion / Business Management.

Experience

  • Essential criteria: 3 years+ wide range of OH nursing including 1 year+ NHS OH experience, 2 year+ OH Team Leader / Mentor / Manage.
  • Desirable criteria: Project management, 5 years OH experience including 3 years+ NHS OH experience.

Skills/knowledge/abilities

  • Essential criteria: Current OH clinical knowledge, effective negotiating, influencing and leadership skills, ability to build and motivate others, excellent communication skills, able to identify and solve complex problems at an operational level, effective role model, demonstrable ability to meet Trust values.
  • Desirable criteria: Project management skills.
