Main duties of the job

• To organise and manage the work, staff and facilities of the Pharmacy Quality Assurance unit.
• To advise on quality assurance matters to customers of the Pharmacy Dept.
• To deputise for the QA/QC Manager.
• To be departmental health and safety representative.
• To perform health and safety inspections and fire risk assessments.

Person Specification

Education/ Qualifications Essential

• Science background

Experience Essential

• 3 years working in QA position in a GMP environment

Desirable

• 5 years working in a QA role in a MHRA regulated area
• Solid understanding of aseptic manufacturing

Skills/knowledge/ abilities Essential

• Good understanding of GMP regulations
