The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
The successful candidate will join the Performance Support department, validating and auditing patient pathways to improve our data and patient care across the Trust. You must enjoy analytical tasks, have excellent communication skills, be diligent and have patient care as your primary concern. It is vital you understand patient pathways and national reporting standards and how data quality affects the Trust. You should have experience of working in demanding environments. NHS experience is required. The successful candidate will be able to work independently, be self‑motivated and have excellent IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities:
- To ensure appropriate, accurate and timely recording of data within all Divisions across the four key national performance targets and relevant data quality indicators across the data quality framework.
- To audit the following national waiting time standards and waiting lists: RTT incomplete removals (clock stops), A&E 4‑hour target and length of stay waiting times, Cancer waiting time standards, Diagnostic 6‑week target, procedure cancellations, inpatient and outpatient waiting lists.
- To complete detailed root‑cause analysis of pathways and data quality errors when required.
- To assess, analyse, interpret and adjust information recorded on the Trust’s patient administration system for the purpose of ensuring accuracy of data throughout a patient’s journey.
- To liaise with relevant staff to obtain information needed to appropriately audit pathways in accordance with national waiting time’s guidance and the Trust’s Elective.
