Principle Accountabilities

  • Analyse supplier and ESG data to understand trends and forecasts, create hypothesis and questions to understand where there may be underperformance and opportunities
  • Maintain the GHG emissions database for logistics
  • Work closely with relevant suppliers and the relevant category teams to deliver engagement programs centred around agreed ESG priorities and targets
  • Support the definition and implementation of targets, measures, and tracking including relevant 3rd party tools, services and data sources
  • Identify data and reporting requirements and feed these into the technology roadmap for Procurement
  • Management of Sustainable Tobacco Programme (STP) data (incl. co-ordinating data collection, data

Skills and Experience Required

  • Experience in delivering analytics solutions and tools, including sustainability data modelling with a focus on scope 3 related emissions, and a good understanding of data analysis techniques
  • Experience with 3rd party risk assessments tool such as SEDEX or Ecovadis and relevant audit methodologies
  • Strong numerical and data analysis skills, including analytics of large data sets, with the ability to assess scope 3 emissions and perform cross-comparisons across datasets
  • Solid understanding of ESG principles, including the GHG Protocol and SBTi targets, with practical knowledge of tracking and reducing emissions in supply chain and capital investment activities (experience in ESG and emissions tracking software will be an asset)
  • Awareness of best practices in achieving Supply Chain Net Zero objectives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for a broad audience
